The 32° Scottish Rite Tie – Crimson Edition is a 60″ long, 3.5″ wide jacquard-woven silk necktie rendered in crimson red on black. Created as part of The Crimson Rite Collection, this design honors the Scottish Rite path through disciplined structure, repetition, and restraint.
The pattern is built on a latticework of interlinked chains, forming a continuous field across the tie. This chain motif represents the chain of brotherhood—individual links joined together through obligation, continuity, and shared labor. Strength is not found in isolation, but in connection.
At each intersection of the lattice, the Square and Compasses are placed deliberately, marking points of moral alignment and discipline. These intersections serve as anchors within the design, reinforcing the idea that brotherhood is sustained through shared principles rather than mere association.
Prominently repeated throughout the field is the Double-Headed Eagle of the 32°, the central emblem of the Scottish Rite. Its balanced, forward-facing form emphasizes reflection, duality, and culmination of the Rite’s philosophical journey. The repetition of the eagle reinforces continuity rather than hierarchy, allowing the symbol to integrate into the pattern rather than dominate it.
The design avoids overt display, relying instead on geometry, proportion, and repetition to convey meaning. It is intended for those who value depth, continuity, and the quiet language of symbols.
